Byrne Hollow Farm Bog Trail
The Chicago Bog is a unique geological feature with a diverse wildlife and fauna habitat. We are very fortunate to have such a pristine ecological feature not only on our grounds but here in Cortland County. The preservation of this wetland will surprise you and be enjoyed as an undiscovered jewel.
This is a dog friendly trail and we hope you enjoy the walk with your pet. Please note, while we border Lyme Hollow Nature Center, not all of their trails allow dogs. Please be respectful and continue the walk on the Lehigh Valley Trail extension within the park.
Take a picture! Take a photo by the “I hiked the Byrne Hollow Farm Bog Trail” sign and post it on social media. Make sure to tag our page and we will send you free Byrne Hollow Farm Greek yoghurt. Directions: To enter the trail head travel on Route 13 in Cortlandville. Turn onto Byrne Hollow Crossing at traffic signal and look for parking signs. Turn down telephone lined gravel road and park in designated space. Follow the trail markers to lead you to the trail end.
